FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: control method of the engine braking device is intended for internal combustion engines of vehicles. Engine braking device has intake system, exhaust system, gas exchange valves connected with internal combustion engine, and turbo-charge and engine braking unit. Turbocharging is performed by means of exhaust turbocharger built in exhaust system and intake system. Engine deceleration unit has decompression brake and brake shield. Decompression brake acts on at least one outlet valve and is controlled by gas and/or depends on the exhaust gas counter pressure. Brake flap is arranged in exhaust system and leads to accumulation of exhaust gas. In engine braking mode, required braking moment (B) is controlled in compliance with supercharging (PL) pressure of exhaust turbocharger and with back pressure (PA) of exhaust gas upstream relative to brake shield (12). Brake flap (12)is located upstream of exhaust turbine of exhaust turbocharger. Supercharging pressure (PL) and differential pressure (PD) are used as control parameters. Differential pressure (PD) is formed from backpressure (PA) of exhaust gas and supercharge pressure (PL). Disclosed are a braking device for an engine for an internal combustion engine in vehicles and a vehicle.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of selective and more accurate control of variable braking power by motor.
