FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to copper alloys used as material of contact network of high-speed railway transport. Low-alloyed copper alloy contains tin, zinc, copper and impurities, including lead, iron and aluminum, at the following ratio, wt%: Sn 0.25–0.4, Zn 0.5–1.0, Pb less than 0.003, Fe less than 0.003, Al less than 0.1, copper – balance, wherein alloy structure contains fine precipitation of Cu3Sn intermetallides with size of 5–10 nm.
EFFECT: alloy has a complex of high operational characteristics, namely high strength, high electrical conductivity, heat resistance and manufacturability.
