SUBSTANCE: invention relates to universal, multifunctional and adjustable armchair-bed with folding backrest and footrest and is aimed at increasing rigidity and reliability of the structure. Chair with folding back, which is transformed into bed, comprises first frame, support for back, leg support and second frame. First frame comprises first and second attachments and seat coupled with first and second attachments, wherein first and second supports rest directly on at least one of floor and first set of wheels. Support for back is pivotally connected to first end of first frame, wherein support for back can be adjusted from essentially vertical position to essentially horizontal position. Support for leg is pivotally connected to first frame first end, wherein support for back can be adjusted from a substantially vertical position to a substantially horizontal position. Second frame rests on second set of wheels, wherein second frame is retracted into first frame and extends therefrom, and wherein in first position second frame is located inside first frame, and the back support is in a substantially vertical position, in one or more intermediate positions, the second frame extends from the first frame, thereby moving the back support from a substantially vertical position into a substantially horizontal position. In the second position, the second frame extends from the first frame and supports the back support in a substantially horizontal position, thereby forming a substantially flat surface together with the seat.

EFFECT: disclosed is a versatile, multifunctional and adjustable armchair bed with a folding backrest and a footrest.
