FIELD: laser engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser equipment. Laser device comprises at least one laser (L) with a plurality of longitudinal modes for generating laser radiation having a spectrum of a plurality of longitudinal modes; at least one high-quality micro-resonator (M), connected by optical feedback to said at least one laser (L) with multiple longitudinal modes; tuning unit (TU) for tuning spectrum of multiple longitudinal modes of laser radiation. Tuning unit is designed so that to match each of at least one frequency of separate longitudinal mode of said laser with corresponding resonance frequency of micro resonator, so as to obtain at least one matched frequency. Laser device is configured to output laser radiation having an output spectrum with at least one dominant longitudinal laser mode, each of which is on one of said at least one matched frequency and with reduced width of dominant longitudinal laser mode.
EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling increase in laser generation power with narrow line width without additional amplification, while maintaining compact size of device.
