SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, specifically to devices for determining urea. Diagnostic plate comprises a quartz substrate, a polymer coating consisting of polyethylene imine, polystyrene sulphonate and polyallylamine, and urease-containing polyelectrolyte microcapsules.

EFFECT: invention provides rapid determination of urea content without using labor-intensive operations for extraction of detecting agents from the reaction medium and preparation thereof for the next analysis.
