FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns ultrathin polymer coatings widely applied in modern technique, and describes ultrathin polymer coating including interlacing polycation and polyanion layers with one or more ferment-containing polyelectrolyte capsule layers therebetween. Method for obtaining such coating involves application of polyelectrolyte layers to solid substrate of random form and placement of one or more ferment-containing polyelectrolyte capsule layers between the polyelectrolyte layers. The invention also includes application of the said coating and method for application same to obtain new type of fermentation biosensor with ferment molecules located in wells of polyelectrolyte coating.
EFFECT: preservation of maximum activity of ferments immobilised in polymer coating along with protection of the said ferments from environmental influence; increased ferment content per area unit; and obtaining new biosensor types based on such ferments.
