FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device and method for food products processing. Device for processing food products placed in a receiving vessel, including a steam generator for steam generation, a steam supply device connected to the steam generator for steam supply to the receiving vessel. At that, steam supply device includes steam probe equipped with at least one steam outlet hole, steam probe travel drive for movement of steam probe travel along axis of travel and rotary drive of steam probe, providing rotation of steam probe around axis of stroke. Method for processing food products placed in a receiving vessel includes the following operations: provision of the presence of the device, provision of food products in the receiving vessel, movement of steam probe along axis of stroke until at least one hole of steam output is immersed into food product, steam supply, removal of steam probe from food product.
EFFECT: technical result of claimed invention is simplification of process of processing food products in receiving vessel.
