FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and aims at treating patients after phacoemulsification of age-related cataract. After phacoemulsification of age-related cataract, in addition to standard application of antibiotic solution to patient in conjunctival cavity of operated eye for 30 days 2 times day for 1 drop of combined preparation is installed, consisting of 6.0 ml of tear substitute based on 0.15 % sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, 3.0 ml of 0.1 % dexamethasone and 1.0 ml of 0.25 % Derinat.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides preventing postoperative induced damage of eye surface structures and dry eye syndrome after phacoemulsification, improved local immune status of the operated eye, reduced number of instillations and ease of use for the patient.
