SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for selection of spring soft wheat plants with a shorter term of heading stage, including crossing parental samples of soft wheat, self-fertilization of hybrids of first generation F1 to produce hybrids of second generation F2, among which using molecular PCR markers, selecting plants with genes determining the term of heading stage, repeated self-fertilization of selected plants to produce a generation of F3 and testing the latter in field conditions for assessing the term of heading stage, where the "Tulun 15" soft spring wheat breed containing allele of insensitivity to the Ppd-D1a photoperiod, as well as Vrn-A1a, Vrn-B1c and Vrn-B3a alleles, which determine early terms of earing, are crossed with commercial breed of soft wheat "Obskaya 2", is selected from generation F2 using molecular PCR markers 1a and 1b plants containing in homozygous state allele Ppd-D1a, analyzing plants F2, taken with the help of molecular markers 1a and 1b, allele-specific markers 2a, 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b are used to select plants containing alleles Vrn-A1a, Vrn-B1c and Vrn-B3a in the homozygous condition, which determine early terms of earing.
