FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and biotechnology. A hybrid line of spring soft wheat containing a chromosome fragment with two genes from Aegilops speltoides: a gene that determines prolongation of earing (VRN-Asp1), and a gene of resistance to brown rust (LrAsp5), is intercrossed with a line containing a gene of resistance to powdery mildew (Pm) from the genome of rye Secale cereale, and plants of the generation F1 are self-pollinated to the generation F2. From the generation F2 using molecular PCR marker Pr1/Pr5 the plants are selected containing genes VRN-Asp1 and LrAsp5 in the homozygous state. The plants F2 selected by the PCR marker Pr1/Pr5 with the genes VRN-Asp1 and LrAsp5 are checked by the PCR marker SCM009 to identify the plants with the gene Pm of resistance to powdery mildew.
EFFECT: use of the claimed method enables to simplify the known method and to create the lines of soft spring wheat with an elongated period of earing and with complex resistance to fungal diseases.
