FIELD: physical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a metal-resistant cracking catalyst and a method for its production. The proposed catalyst includes an ultra-stable zeolite Y in cation-decationated form, a matrix consisting of amorphous aluminosilicate, aluminum hydroxide and natural clay, and mixed magnesium-aluminum oxide. Kaolin clay, aluminum hydroxide from the product of thermochemical activation of alumina and amorphous aluminosilicate containing 1.5-3.5, wt. %, of magnesium oxide, are used as matrix components. and the mixed magnesium-aluminum oxide has a molar ratio of magnesium to aluminum (5-7.5):1, and the content of these components in the catalyst is, wt. %: zeolite Y 21-25; kaolin clay 15-30; aluminum hydroxide 22-40; amorphous aluminosilicate 20-30, mixed magnesium-aluminum oxide 2-3. The method for obtaining the catalyst includes ion exchanges for ammonium cations and rare earth elements on zeolite Y, ultrastabilization of zeolite, mixing of zeolite with a matrix consisting of amorphous aluminosilicate, aluminum hydroxide and natural clay, and magnesium aluminum hydrotalcite, spray drying of the resulting composition followed by calcination and obtaining a catalyst. At the same time, kaolin clay is used as natural clay, aluminum hydroxide is obtained by processing the product of thermochemical activation of alumina, amorphous aluminosilicate is modified with magnesium cations to a content of 1.5-3.5, wt. %, of magnesium oxide, and the mixed magnesium-aluminum oxide obtained from hydrotalcite has a molar ratio of magnesium to aluminum (5-7,5):1.
EFFECT: creation of a cracking catalyst that provides high conversion of heavy petroleum feedstock with a high content of metals.
