FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to vegetable growing. Beds are prepared for sowing, their crops are taken care of and root crops are cleaned. In early summer place of future planting in the form of a bed is coated with mulch layer 30÷50 cm, for which straw is used, and/or bevelled grass, and/or leaf litter and/or sawdust, and/or weakly decomposed compost. Mulch is watered at the top with liquid organic fertilizer in the form of grass and manure from calculation of 20÷30 l/m2 and covered with black non-woven cover material or black polyethylene film. In formation of stable snow cover, snow and covering material or film from bed are removed. In mulch grooves are formed to soil surface, in which carrots seeds are planted. Then groove is filled with mixture of sand or soil with ash in ratio 5÷10:1 layer in 1÷2 cm, after which the bed is filled with snow with a layer of not less than 30 cm. In spring, the shoots are thinning, and during the vegetation period the soil moisture is maintained at depth of 10÷25 cm within 40÷70 %, wherein irrigation is carried out in spacing. At that, directly before irrigation between rows forming grooves with diameter of 5÷10 mm at depth of 10÷25 cm with pitch 5÷15 cm. Root crops are harvested when full technical ripeness is achieved.

EFFECT: method allows to increase crop capacity, reduce labor costs for cultivated crop care, improve soil fertility and obtain cylindrical roots.
