SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a data transmission method implemented in a wireless transmit/receive module (WTRU). Data transmission method includes: receiving a configuration for transmitting scheduling requests, wherein the configuration indicates a first set of resources to be used by the WTRU to transmit scheduling requests associated with the first set of one or more logical channels, and a second set of resources to be used by the WTRU to transmit scheduling requests associated with the second set of one or more logical channels; determining accessibility for transmitting data associated with at least one of a first set of one or more logical channels; transmitting a first scheduling request using a first set of resources specified in a configuration based on determining accessibility for data transmission associated with at least one of a first set of one or more logical channels; determining accessibility for transmitting data associated with at least one of a second set of one or more logical channels; and transmitting a second scheduling request using a second set of resources specified in the configuration, based on determining accessibility for data transmission associated with at least one of a second set of one or more logical channels.

EFFECT: providing uplink data transmission from a WTRU module to a network.
