FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering, in particular to steering mechanisms with a built-in hydraulic booster. Vehicle ball-screw steering hydraulic booster comprises housing, in which rack-piston with ball-screw gearing is installed, which is arranged in its axial hole, which interacts with its teeth with sector shaft teeth and dividing housing into two working chambers, which are connected to source of working fluid supply through hydraulic distributor, it is created by interaction of the set of longitudinal grooves of the screw of the ball-screw gear and rotor located in its axial hole. Rack tooth contour is made along envelope of family of involute profiles of sector shaft, and initial line of rack-and-pin transmission is made on envelope of family of initial circles, diameter of which gradually increases at transition from neutral to extreme positions. Rack teeth contour mating with sector shaft teeth in neutral position is curvilinear with curvature direction, similar to curvature of curvature of sector shaft teeth evolvent, and rack teeth contour mating in extreme positions is made with opposite direction of curvature.
EFFECT: reduced contact loads in neutral position and increased service life of hydraulic booster.
