FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering, in particular to steering mechanisms with a built-in hydraulic amplifier. Ballscrew hydraulic steering booster of the vehicle comprises a body, in which the piston rod is mounted, with a ball screw transmission located in its axial hole, interacting with its teeth, the initial plane of which is combined with its own geometric axis, with the teeth of the bipod, and dividing the body into two working chambers communicating with the source of supply of working fluid through the hydraulic distributor created by the interaction of the set of longitudinal grooves of the screw of the ball screw and a rotor located in its axial bore. Outer cylindrical surface of the rod-piston is made two-stage, one of the steps, larger diameter, is sealing, and the second, smaller diameter, complete with the teeth of the rail, is a guide, while their geometric axes are aligned. Separation in the space of the sealing and guide part enables the guide part of the rod-piston to be placed in the metal-fluoroplastic bearing.
EFFECT: this solution provides a significant reduction in frictional losses and an increase in the mechanical efficiency of the hydraulic booster.
