FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to devices and methods for providing improved mixing of fluids in a flask for storage of samples. Piston head can be arranged with possibility of removal inside the cap attached to the container; at that, the cap can have a hole providing the possibility of insertion of the shaft, for example, the shaft of the probe or sipper, into the cap and into the piston head. Shaft can be used to push the piston head out of the cap and then to reciprocate the piston head inside the container for content mixing. Extraction of the shaft can cause disengagement of the piston head from the shaft and its retention in the container.
EFFECT: improving efficiency of mixing fluids in a flask for storage of samples.
