FIELD: heat power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: nozzle for spraying liquid in a cooling tower comprises a liquid supply nozzle and three liquid flow splitters arranged in the direction of the liquid flow, which are in form of washers, wherein the first splitter has a diameter greater than the diameter of the second splitter, and is connected to the nozzle and the second divider by the posts, and the third splitter is connected to the second divider by the posts and has a diameter smaller than the diameter of the second splitter, wherein the first and second splitters are made with coaxial to the nozzle longitudinal axis aligned with the profiled branch pipes, on the first splitter, on its end wall facing the nozzle, radial teeth are made, and third splitter is made with tapered outer surface diverging along fluid flow. Nozzle is solid cast from plastic, radial teeth of first splitter along periphery are made with triangular profile smoothly decreasing in height to zero in direction to longitudinal axis of nozzle with formation of concave arc-shaped surface of teeth, smoothly conjugated with surrounding surface of first divider surface smooth annular surface, conjugated with outer surface of its branch pipe, formed by two tapered surfaces, expanding in direction of liquid flow, branch pipe of the second divider is made with narrowing along the liquid flow opening and external conical surface expanding along the flow of liquid, with made on the tapered surface annular grooves, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the nozzle, and made in them radial stiffness ribs.

EFFECT: as a result, it is possible to intensify heat exchange between the cooled liquid and its cooling air flow by reducing hydraulic losses during liquid spraying.
