FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: water sprinkling nozzle of the cooling tower contains input section converging along the water flow, manhole and output section expanding along the flow direction, at that on the outside surface of the output section the water turbulising elements are made, the input section is made with cylindrical nozzle, wall thickness of the input section gradually reduces in direction from the nozzle to manhole, and water turbulising elements are made in form of flat rectangular shoulders located parallel to nozzle axis by rows along the concentric circles, at that shoulders of the second row (from nozzle axis) are installed in staggered order in relation to the shoulders of other rows, shoulders of the last row along the water flow are made double, shoulders of the next to the last row are made with V cut-out at middle, width of shoulders gradually increases, and height gradually decreases from row to row in direction from the nozzle axis , and at edge of the output section a row of shoulders is made, the shoulders are inclined at blunt angle to the tangential generatrix surface of the output section passing through the interfacing point of the shoulder and edge of the output section.
EFFECT: increased dispersion degree and uniform water spraying at output of the water spraying nozzle.
