FIELD: military science.
SUBSTANCE: method relates to the field of military affairs, namely to camouflage military facilities and counteracting television reconnaissance, by hiding the reconnaissance object by imaging the underlying surface or false object. Method of countering television reconnaissance consists in the fact that a camouflage coating consisting of flexible elements is used, differing by the fact that size and shape of elements, width, thickness and orientation options of the lens raster layer are calculated, printing an underlying surface or a false object image thereon, coating the layer of the lens raster and interconnected by elasticity, wherein the elements dimensions are calculated by formula , where Rc – resolution of television reconnaissance means, n – number of options for orientation of lens rasters in plane, and thickness of lens raster is calculated by formula where ρ is width of one lens, γ is the lens raster viewing angle.
EFFECT: reduced probability of detection and recognition of reconnaissance objects.
