SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the possibility of dual connection to a virtual access point. Method of controlling a logical endpoint of a stable virtual access point, in which the logical endpoint includes an interface with a macro-access point, in which a stable virtual access point comprises a plurality of transmission points, transmission points provide coordinated data transmission to user equipment, comprises maintaining user equipment connection status in logical endpoint, receiving in logical end point information on status of connection of user equipment from access point of macrolevel, determining in the logical endpoint the change in the status of connection of user equipment and updating in the logical endpoint the status of connection of user equipment taking into account the change.
EFFECT: improved throughput capacity for each user and mobility reliability by providing instances of user equipment to connect simultaneously with a main group of cells and a secondary group of cells.
