FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular, to regulators of the transformation ratio of power transformers. The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the apparatus for controlling the voltage of a transformer, the primary winding whereof is divided into two galvanically isolated sections with adjusting tap terminals, connectable to the supply network with the input terminals thereof and to the terminals of the primary winding of the transformer with the output terminals so that the primary winding of the transformer is connected to the input terminals of the apparatus containing current and voltage sensors, a control unit, a branch of two bidirectional thyristor switches connected in series and a branch consisting of a serial connection of two counter-connected unidirectional thyristor switches, wherein the connection points of the bidirectional thyristor switches and the unidirectional thyristor switches of all branches are combined into a common point and the identical terminals of the unidirectional thyristor switches of the branch connecting the end of the first and the beginning of the second galvanically isolated sections are connected to the end of the first and the beginning of the second galvanically isolated sections, respectively, and the similar identical terminals of other unidirectional thyristor switches are connected to a common point.
EFFECT: simplification of the apparatus for controlling the voltage of a transformer under load and increase in the reliability thereof.
