FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing sorbents based on natural mineral raw materials. Dolomite is subjected to thermal treatment at 800–850 °C, after which is milled to particle size of not more than 50 mcm. Phosphorus-containing reagent is prepared by mixing heated to 30–70 °C of phosphoric acid, titanium salt in form of ammonium titanyl sulphate (NH4)2TiO(SO4)2⋅H2O or titanyl sulphate monohydrate TiOSO4⋅H2O and ammonium phosphate in form of ammonium dihydrophosphate NH4H2PO4 to provide molar ratio Ti:P=1:2.0–2.5 and pH 2–3. Dolomite is decomposed with a phosphorus-containing reagent to form a suspension. Suspension is filtered to separate solid phase, which is washed with water and dried to obtain sorbent of polyphase composition.
EFFECT: invention increases sorption capacity of cesium up to 100 mg/g, strontium and cobalt to 90 mg/g in a wide range of operation of the sorbent in solutions with pH 3–9.
