FIELD: sorbent-producing methods.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing a sorbent based on dolomite is described, including heat treatment and grinding of dolomite, processing of crushed dolomite with a phosphorus-containing reagent, followed by separation of the solid phase, washing and drying, in which the phosphorus-containing reagent is obtained by mixing ammonium titanyl sulfate and 30-70% phosphoric acid at molar ratio Ti:P = 1:4.0-5.5 and holding the mixture for 30-60 minutes, and the treatment of dolomite with phosphorus-containing reagent is carried out in solid-phase synthesis mode with a mass ratio of dolomite and a phosphorus-containing reagent equal to 1:3.5-4.5, within 3-5 hours.

EFFECT: increased sorption capacity of the sorbent and processability of the method.
