FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical industry and can be used in the production of promising inorganic ion-exchange materials, precursors for catalysts, semiconductors, biosensors, electrochemically active materials, sorbents for the treatment of liquid radioactive waste and industrial effluents. Phosphoric acid and a solid titanium-containing precursor, which is crystalline titanyl sulfate monohydrate, are mixed at a molar ratio of TiO2:Р2O5=1:(0.5-1.0). The interaction of the components of the obtained mixture is carried out in the mode of mechanical activation in a planetary mill for 30-60 minutes at a drum rotation speed of 400-600 rpm. The resulting titanium phosphate intermediate is separated, washed with water at S:L=1:(2-5) and heat-treated at 60-70°C to obtain the target product - monophase titanium phosphate with a high sorption capacity.
EFFECT: standard equipment is used, the duration of the process and the number of technological operations are reduced.
