FIELD: fishing and fish farming.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a device for fish slaughtering, a fish counting device and the first transportation facility for movement of stunned fish to a screw tank. First transport facility comprises at least one first measuring device configured to detect first mass flow rate of stunned fish. Screw tank comprises receiving container to receive liquid, and screw conveyor, which together with receiving container forms fish-receiving chambers for transportation of fish, located in said chambers, through said liquid. Device also comprises second transportation facility located at second end of receiving container and configured to move fish to at least one fish processing machine located downstream of auger tank, and control means, comprising a computing unit configured to determine in each case a predicted variable associated with the amount of fish, for at least one of the fish-receiving chambers based on the detected values of the amount of fish and the first mass flow rate. Present invention also relates to fish processing method.
EFFECT: invention provides optimal fish treatment.
