SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to equipment for slaughtering animals. In the method, the device for controlling anesthetization of animal (1) contains stimulation unit (2) for supplying stimulating stimulus (3) and image capturing unit (4) comprising image capture range (5). Said image capturing unit is made in the form of a 3D-camera. Further, an evaluation unit (6) is connected to the image capturing unit. Pixels of the image capture range on the surface area of the animal can be captured and presented in such a way as to be transmitted as pixel data. Said evaluation unit captures pixel data provided by the image capturing unit. Said evaluation unit can be used to identify the image of the active movement of an animal from captured pixel data. In case of detection of the active movement of the animal, the evaluation unit can be used to obtain the result of the test as an output signal.
EFFECT: increased reliability of testing the effectiveness of anesthetizing an animal.
