SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and medical technology. Obstetric device comprises an intravaginal obstetric device comprising a central body made from elastic material and having an expandable intravaginal component with an inner cavity configured to hold fluid, and an inlet communicating fluidly with the inner cavity. Lateral wings are made from resilient material and extend from central body. Each wing is folded into configuration for storage and unfolds into unfolded configuration. First fastening mechanism is connected to the central body and the inlet hole. Handle device includes handle, fluid medium supply device and a second fixation mechanism connected to the handle and the outlet opening and configured to be detachably connected to the first fixation mechanism on the intravaginal component and connecting the outlet of the fluid supply device in a hermetic interaction to the inlet of the central body of the intravaginal component. Invention discloses obstetric device for protection of pelvic floor during delivery, method of obstetric aid, method of using obstetric device for protection of pelvic floor and method of using obstetric device in case of obstruction of foetus. Disclosed obstetric device for protecting a woman's pelvic floor during natural delivery, a method of obstetric care, method for using an obstetric device for protecting a pelvic floor from a trauma during natural delivery and a method for using an obstetric device in cases of natural delivery in the presence of an obstruction to foetal passage.

EFFECT: inventions allow preventing or relieving traumatic pelvic floor injuries.
