SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles. In a method of controlling a motor of a vehicle for decelerating an electric vehicle by means of a recuperative braking of a motor connected to a driving shaft of a driving wheel of a vehicle, torque control command value is calculated to suppress drive shaft vibration component by means of feedback channel effect of angular speed of drive shaft torsion to required torque that determines engine power. Further, the dead zone section is evaluated, at which the motor torque is not transmitted to the drive shaft, based on the required torque. Then the value of the torque control command is limited in case the vehicle is evaluated as located in the dead zone area and the operation of the motor is controlled based on the value of the torque control command.
EFFECT: reduced noise and vibration.
