FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely, to submersible device for control of molten metal state. Device contains a measuring head, a measuring head holder and a rod which is detachably connected to the holder or is connected to the holder by means of a detachable tubular connecting element. There is a gas channel from the rod to the detachable connecting element and a gas-tight connection between the connecting surface of the rod and the detachable tubular connecting element. Tubular connecting element contains wiping means in the form of plates, which wipes the connecting surface of the rod during attachment of the tubular connecting element to the rod and/or removal of the tubular connecting element from the rod.
EFFECT: invention enables to create a submersible device for melted metal, which makes possible the fail-safe operation of the measuring system based on the rod.
