FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: sampling chamber assembly for the molten metal comprises a cover plate and a body. First surface of the housing has a recess in direct fluid communication with the first opening formed at the immersion end of the housing. Cover plate and the body are assembled together along the first plane to form a sampling cavity including the recess. Surface for analysis of the solidified sample of metal lies in the first plane. Sampling cavity and the first hole are aligned along the common longitudinal axis. First hole is spaced from the first plane. Ratio of the thermal diffusivities of the solidified sample of the metal and the material of the housing is from 0.1 to 0.5. Body is inseparable from the solidified metal sample. Body section is directly adjacent to the solidified sample of the metal and lies in the first plane.
EFFECT: invention provides the prevent of the samples entry to the reaction with the ambient air.
