FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rapidly cooled sampler that is filled with molten metal in the direction of immersion, parallel to the longitudinal axis. Sampler for taking samples from the molten metal bath includes a sample chamber assembly having a cover plate and a housing. Housing has first and second openings for the inlet tube and gas connector. First surface of the enclosure includes a distribution zone, an analysis zone and a ventilation zone. Depth of the analysis zone is more than 1.5 mm and less than 3 mm. Cover plate and the housing are collected to form the sample cavity. Surface for analyzing the hardened steel sample formed in the sample cavity lies in the first plane.

EFFECT: invention provides the greatest benefit on existing optical emission spectrographs and produces a locally analyzed metallurgical sample.
