SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to sampling from a bath with molten metal. Disclosed is sample chamber (20) for collecting samples from a molten metal bath, comprising flat cover (23) and housing (22), wherein distribution segment (43) and ventilation segment (45) are located below analysis segment (44) in the direction from upper surface (32) to lower surface (33) and ventilation segment (45) and distribution segment (43) are not connected to upper surface (32), and the maximum and minimum cross-sectional area of analysis segment (44) perpendicular to central longitudinal axis X of housing (22) do not deviate from each other by more than 20%. Also disclosed is a sampler comprising chamber (20).

EFFECT: group of inventions provides homogeneous and complete filling of the analysis segment with the sample.
