FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing aluminium alloys, which can be used in production of complex shaped aluminium products, such as bottles or jars. Method of producing moulded article from aluminium alloy includes production of ingot by cast from aluminium alloy containing the following, wt. %: 0.15–0.50 Si, 0.35–0.65 Fe, 0.05–0.30 Cu, 0.60–1.10 Mn, 0.80–1.30 Mg, 0.000–0.080 Cr, 0.000–0.500 Zn, 0.000–0.080 Ti, up to 0.15 impurities and the rest is aluminium; ingot homogenisation, hot rolling, cold rolling with thickness reduction of 60–99 %, stabilizing annealing at temperature of 100–300 °C for 0.5–5 hours to produce article having a festoon formation from -3.5 to 2 %, mean value of festoon formation, equal to or less than 5.5 %, yield point is 185–225 MPa, ultimate tensile strength is 205–250 MPa, εstable, equal to or greater than 0.035, where εstable = εF - εS, εS is initial deformation, at which stage IV of strain hardening begins, εF is final deformation, at which local reduction is finished.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of mouldability with high degree of deformation of aluminium alloys at reduction of number of cases of cracking.
