FIELD: package and storage.
SUBSTANCE: aluminium alloy contains, wt. %: 0.1–1.6 Mn, 0.1–0.6 Mg, 0.45–1.0 Cu, 0.2–0.7 Fe, 0.10–0.6 Si, up to 0.3 Cr, up to 0.6 Zn, up to 0.2 Ti, < 0.05 for each impurity element, < 0.15 for all impurity elements, the rest is Al. Method of making aluminium alloy sheet includes direct-cast casting with casting speed of 50–300 mm/min; homogenisation by heating to temperature of 550 °C to 650 °C at rate of 30–60 °C/h and holding for 1–6 hours, cooling to temperature of 450 °C to 500 °C and holding for 8–18 hours; hot rolling in a roughing mill to a thickness of about 1.5 mm to about 3 mm; and cold rolling to produce cold-rolled sheet.
EFFECT: invention relates to moldable and strong aluminium alloys for making packing products such as bottles and jars.
