FIELD: satisfaction of human vital needs.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed technical solution relates to means of meeting vital needs, in particular to household devices, which increase convenience of using shoes with simultaneous hygiene in medical institutions. Task is to expand the number of visitors of medical institutions, including both patients with various nature of limitations of health, and physically healthy visitors, using self-service device for putting on shoe covers with simplification of its design, reduction of its weight, material consumption and improvement of reliability. Self-service device for putting on shoe covers 1 made of polymer case 2 with elastic band 3 arranged in the flap of this case, on constantly worn shoes 4 containing post 13 of vertical holder 5 with handle 6 on one end, as well as with transversely fixed on the other end bracket 7. Inner surface of bracket 7 covers dimensions of maximum cross section of constantly worn shoes 4. Bracket 7 is equipped with hooks 8 of cover 2 edge. Post 13 and holder 5 are interacting by means of their forced parallel joint and forced dissection through permanent magnets 14 and 15. Permanent magnets 14 and 15 are selected with a force of adhesion with ferromagnetic material lying within limits exceeding horizontal component of stretching of shoe covers 1 on hooks, but not exceeding the force of irreversible deformation of holder 5 when cutting force is applied to holder 5 handle 4. Proposal, ensuring comfort of putting shoe covers on as patients of medical institutions with a wide range of limitations of physical capabilities, and visitors of medical institutions without restrictions of physical capabilities, allows to put shoe covers on wearable shoes without bending or, if it is more comfortable for patient, with low inclination. Simplicity and low cost of appliance allow using it in institutions with high requirements to hygiene facilities, financial resources of which do not allow them to acquire and maintain complex automated devices for putting on of shoe covers.
EFFECT: providing convenience of putting on shoe covers with self-service appliance for a wider contingent of health facility visitors, including both patients with different nature of limitations of health, and physically healthy visitors, at simplification of device design, reduction of its weight, material consumption and improvement of reliability by its design with interconnected components.
