FIELD: furniture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to furniture production, namely, to bed lifting mechanisms. Lifting mechanism consists of multi-link lever-hinged mechanism including lower bracket, upper bracket and levers articulated with each other, as well as gas spring with hinged tips fixed by means of nuts. Fastening of gas spring to vertical wall of upper bracket is made with displacement inside the bed. To accommodate and hold the nut for this attachment, two to four molded hexagonal holes are made in the vertical wall of the upper bracket in the longitudinal direction to adjust the lifting mechanism force depending on the weight of the mattress so that the nut does not protrude beyond the outer vertical plane of the upper bracket.

EFFECT: invention is intended for smooth lifting and lowering of berth and is aimed at possibility to adjust lifting force depending on weight of mattress.
