FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: elongated aerosol-forming device (1) is configured to receive an aerosol-generating article and comprises heater (10) for heating the aerosol-forming article and extractor (30) for extracting the aerosol-forming article placed in the aerosol-forming device. Heater passes in longitudinal direction relative to the elongated aerosol generating device and is configured to penetrate into the inner region of the aerosol-forming article. Extractor is connected to the aerosol generating device with the possibility of movement between the first position and the second position, from which the first position is the operating position set by the heater in contact with the aerosol-forming article, and the second position is an extraction position set by the heater separated from the aerosol-forming article.
EFFECT: present description relates to an elongate aerosol-generating device for use with an aerosol-generating article containing an aerosol-forming substrate.
