SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a Streptococcus thermophilus strain used to produce a fermented milk product and a fermented milk product containing said strain. Streptococcus thermophilus strain is deposited in CNCM under access number I-3862. Fermented milk product contains the specified strain and, optionally, secondary ingredients.
EFFECT: inventions can be used to increase or maintain the number of Faecalibacterium prausnitzii in the intestine.
