DEVICE FOR FACILITATING WALKING USING FRAME FROM HIGH-CARBON PLASTIC Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61H3/00

Abstract RU 2712576 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Walking aid device is made in the form of a frame which is made of high-carbon plastic and consists of a base with a rounded tip and a power frame interconnected by a hinge. Device comprises resilient rubber, which is located on power frame and is connected with damping knuckle. Resilient rubber when transferring the centre of mass of a person accumulates potential energy and during further separation of heel of foot from the ground releases accumulated energy, thereby performing useful work. Movement of the base and the power frame is limited by the limiter.

EFFECT: invention provides reduction of power consumption during walking.
