FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to paediatrics, gastroenterology and functional diagnostics, and can be used for early non-invasive diagnosis of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in obese children. Ultrasound of the hepatobiliary system and polyhepatography are performed. Data of hepatic echogenicity, vascular depletion, haemodynamic changes are analyzed, body weight index and length of disease are evaluated, after which presence/absence of disease is diagnosed by original calculation formula. Incidence rate D0 is determined. If D0> 0, the presence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides accurate and early diagnosis of NAFLD in obese children by simultaneous assessment of liver echogenicity, depletion of vascular pattern, haemodynamic disorders, body weight index and disease duration.
