FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in agriculture, food industry, medicine. Method of producing antioxidant catholytes involves treatment of initial solutions by direct current in a cathode and anode chamber of a plant with a non-directional diaphragm electrolysis cell. Initial solutions used are aqueous solutions of potassium sulphate or sodium acetate with concentration of 1...3 g/l. Electric treatment is carried out at current density of 0.08...1.13 A/cm2 with specific consumption of amount of electricity 0.11...0.20 Ampere hours per 1 l of catholyte and anolyte. Catholytes with pH 11.76...11.80, ORP -300...-846 mV are obtained.
EFFECT: disclosed invention widens range of concentrations of initial salts, their range, as well as increases storage life of antioxidant catholytes.
