FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves electroprocessing a stock solution of sodium nitrite salt at the concentration of 0.5-1.0 g/l in a plant with a non-current cell at the current density of 0.04-0.07 A/cm2 with a specific amount of electricity of 0.10-0.15 A/h per 1 l of catholyte and anolyte with pH of 11.5-12.5, ORP of -300 - (-700) mV and anolyte with pH of 2-3, ORP of +450 - (+550) mV.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the consumption of salts, to reduce the specific consumption of electricity, to expand the range of ECH solutions for processing agricultural products and using in the dairy and meat industries.
