FIELD: chemistry; agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to produce electrochemically activated (ECHA) water, which is used in agriculture, livestock farming, medicine, food industry. Method of producing electrically activated water involves electric treatment of drinking water with constant electric current with pH 7.7–8.7, ORP of 250–300 mV using a silver chloride reference (SCR) electrode and mineralization of 300 mg/l. Electric treatment is carried out in a simple installation with a diaphragm electrolysis cell for 40 minutes, at current strength of 0.10–0.15 A, voltage 36–37 V, obtaining a catholyte with pH 9.5–9.6, ORP – 110–115 mV (SCR).

EFFECT: method enables to obtain water with antioxidant properties, which will make it possible to increase germination capacity of seeds, preservation of meat in a cooled condition.
