FIELD: quantum electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to quantum electronics, namely to non-destructive testing and diagnostics by optical methods, and can be used for investigation of processes of high-temperature burning of powders of metals, as well as processes of interaction of laser radiation with substance. Device for investigating combustion of powders of metals or mixtures thereof comprises a laser brightness amplifier based on an active element on copper bromide vapor bound to a high-voltage pulse source, to which is connected an optical converter, which is connected to master oscillator. On one side of the laser brightness amplifier on its optical axis there installed in series are a neutral color filter, a first lens, a band-pass light filter and a first digital camera whose input for start recording is connected to the controller. On the other side of the laser brightness amplifier on its optical axis, a collecting lens and a concave mirror mounted on a rotary platform which is connected through a drive to a step motor, the windings of which are connected to the controller of the step motor, are arranged in series. On the optical axis of the initiating laser there is a mechanical gate, a first beam-splitting plate, a first biconvex lens and a linear translator for placing the object of analysis. Linear translator is located along the optical axis of the concave mirror. First photodiode is installed opposite the first photodetector plate at an angle to the optical axis of the laser equal to the angle of reflection of the first beam splitter. Second photodiode is installed above the object of study with possibility of controlling distance to it. First and second photodiodes are connected to the oscilloscope. On the optical axis of the second digital camera, a second lens, a second band-pass light filter and a survey object are mounted. First and second digital cameras are connected to a personal computer. Input of the clock pulses and the recording input of the first digital camera are connected to a synchronization circuit which is connected to the optical converter, a mechanical shutter controller, a keypad and a step motor controller.
EFFECT: simultaneous recording of the image and video of the burning process in the intrinsic light and through the brightness amplifier, recording the total brightness of the illumination of the survey object, possibility of remote analysis, possibility of movement of the observation area along the investigated object at controlled speed in real time mode, as well as increase in safety during operation with combustible substances.
