METHOD FOR STUDYING THE PROCESS OF COMBUSTION OF METAL POWDERS OR THEIR MIXTURES Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01N29/00 G01N31/12

Abstract RU 2756885 C1

FIELD: combustion process studying.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to study the combustion process of metal powders or their mixtures. The substance of the invention lies in the fact that simultaneous initiation of the combustion process in a pre-compressed powder is carried out with the help of focused radiation of the initiating laser and fixation of the moment of the beginning of the action of the initiating radiation by the photodiode, registration of changes in the reflectivity of the surface of the research object during and after exposure to the radiation of the initiating laser, determination of the duration of the process combustion, while initiating the combustion process by laser action of a given duration and power, after fixing the moment of the beginning of the action of the initiating radiation, ultrasonic waves are generated, they irradiate the object of study, receive the ultrasonic waves reflected from it, convert them into electrical signals, which amplify, convert into digital form, save and analyze, and the reflectivity is judged by the amplitude of the reflected waves the surface of the object of study, and the time of propagation of ultrasonic waves is judged on the change in its size.

EFFECT: providing the ability to register the reflectivity of the surface of the research object and determine the time parameters of its combustion, even in the case of strong smoke.
