FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to quantum electronics, namely to non-destructive testing and diagnostics by optical methods and can be used for investigation of processes of high-temperature burning of powders of metals, as well as processes of interaction of laser radiation with substance. Disclosed device for investigation of combustion process of powders of metals or their mixtures contains laser amplifier made on the basis of active medium of laser on copper bromide vapor and connected to high-voltage source of pulses. On one side of the laser amplifier along its optical axis there is a first lens and an object of investigation. On the other side of the laser amplifier along its optical axis there is a second light-splitting plate and a screen. On the optical axis of the initiating laser there is a mechanical gate, a first beam-splitting plate, a first biconvex lens and an object of analysis mounted on a linear translator. First photodiode is installed opposite the first beam-splitting plate at an angle to the optical axis of the laser equal to the angle of reflection of the first beam-splitting plate. Optical axis of the second photodiode has a diffuser, a second biconvex lens, a neutral light filter and a second beam splitter. Controller is connected with mechanical shutter. First and second photodiodes are connected to a digital oscilloscope which is connected to a personal computer. Master oscillator is connected to the optical converter, which is connected to the source of high-voltage pulses.
EFFECT: possibility to simultaneously initiate a combustion process and obtain quantitative information on time characteristics of combustion processes of powders of metals and their mixtures in real time.
