SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and relates to a method for inhibiting growth of tumor cells involving the use of a non-viral genetic construct with including a transmembrane form of a klotho gene, where the tumor cells are transfected with a mixture of genetic constructs including genes of both the transmembrane form Klotho and the secreted form Klotho, transfection is performed in a serum-free medium followed by using the neomycin antibiotic for selecting transfected cells according to neomycin resistance.

EFFECT: invention provides higher inhibition effect of genetic correction.
