FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the treatment of atopic dermatitis. The following is presented: a method in which exosomes obtained from a conditioned culture of multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells, previously transfected with a plasmid vector carrying the Klotho membrane gene as a useful one, are used for the treatment of atopic dermatitis. The exosomes isolated during cultivation by the transfected cells, including the transmembrane form of the Klotho protein, are applied to the area of the skin defect in the amount of 1.0 μg per cm of the skin defect twice a day.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows to reduce the treatment time for atopic dermatitis from 3–4 weeks to 8–9 days and improve the quality of therapy in comparison with existing methods.
