SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Disclosed is an isolated nucleic acid molecule which codes a protein with phytase activity. Nucleic acid molecule contains codon-optimizing mutations taking into account the host cell body specificity, which is Pichia pastoris. Invention also relates to an expression construct and to an expression vector comprising said isolated nucleic acid molecules, as well as a method of producing a protein having phytase enzymatic activity.

EFFECT: invention provides enhanced expression of modified phytase as compared to wild type phytase and can be used for making additives in animal fodder.
