FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer chemistry and can be used to produce polymer nanoparticles from chitosan aspartate. Method of producing chitosan derivatives involves mixing chitosan with an acid and producing the desired product. High-molecular chitosan powder is used, the acid used is L-aspartic acid powder, which is mixed and dispersed in water to obtain a solution of chitosan aspartate with concentration of chitosan (0.2–1.8)·10-2 M and concentration of L-aspartic acid (1.5–3.0)·10-2 M in molar ratio of [chitosan(-NH2)] : [acid]=0.07–0.60. Solution of sodium chloride is added to the obtained solution of aspartate of chitosan while stirring to obtain an aqueous dispersion with concentration of sodium chloride (2.5–10)·10-2 M and nanoparticles of chitosan aspartate. Additionally, to obtain stabilized nanoparticles of chitosan aspartate after addition of sodium chloride solution to water dispersion, additionally tetroglycerolate of silicon is added to its concentration in dispersion (0.2–0.3)·10-2 M and mix is mixed for 48 hours.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at producing biologically active and aggregation-resistant nanoparticles of chitosan aspartate.
